This is a cross cultural tour, for those who want to experience the local life and interact with the people who live in the Colombian Pacific Coast, as well as discovering the natural beauty of the area.

You will be staying in a cosy house the “Yemaya” at the edge of a cliff, with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean at Ladrilleros, a window to the Uramba National Park. The property has two double bedrooms with a maximum occupancy of six persons, it’s own fully equipped kitchen, private gardens, hammocks, a barbecue grill and even a washing machine.

Discover the area with one of our included tours; the mangroves or humpback whales watching (from July to October), go deeper into the Uramba National Park with an eco-tour of the Bahia Malaga (not included), spend the day at Ladrilleros beach or hike to La Barra’s amazing beach.

  1. Uramba Day 1

    Departing from Cali around 06:00 you will travel towards the Pacific Coast in the “Via del Mar” highway. Cross the Western Andean mountain range, where you will stop for breakfast and then arrive at Buenaventura, the most important port of Colombia.

    After an hour speed boat ride, arrive at Juanchaco, an authentic fishing village of the Colombian Pacific Coast, where you will take the local transport to our destination the “Yemaya” at Ladrilleros village. After settling in to your accommodation  you will be able to organize the rest of you day as you wish. We will point out to you the best restaurants, grocery stores and places to visit in the area as well as inform you about the available tours. We will be at hand to help you in anything you might need.

  2. Uramba Day 2

    Wake up at your own time with the sound of the waves. Start your  morning  with a cup of coffee in front of the Pacific Ocean.

    After breakfast take one of our included tours, the rest is up to you. Walk along Ladrilleros beach or discover Ladrilleros village and it’s people. We will be there to help you and advise you so you can have the best possible time discovering the Uramba National Park.

  3. Uramba Day 3

    Feeling like a local? Immerse yourself and mingle with the people of Ladrilleros village, take life o the slow lane for a day!  Explore the Uramba National Park or walk to La Barra amazing beach, until our departure at around 15:00 for Buenaventura and Cali.

Yemaya Cabin is situated in a privileged location on top of a cliff,  looking at the Pacific Ocean. The local shops and restaurants are at walking distance as well as a beautiful stretch of beach. The accommodation includes fully equipped kitchen for your personal use.

All tours are in English or Spanish depending of the group. Our tour guides will be available on request to make sure that you maximize your experience. They’ll take you on a guided tour and assist you throughout the entire trip.

We will only recommend restaurants that we have tried and liked. At the “Yemaya Cabin” you will be able to cook your own meals, we will recommend you the best groceries store in the area and where to buy fresh fish straight out of the sea.
